Expo Flor Ecuador 2026 will Bring the Global Floriculture Industry Together in Quito
The trade show will welcome 130 exhibitors and more than 2,500 international visitors from 73 countries, across 15,000 square meters of exhibition space.
Quito, Ecuador – From October 6 to 8, 2026, the Quito Metropolitan Convention Center (CCMQ) will host Expo Flor Ecuador 2026, an international gathering that will bring together growers, buyers, industry experts, and representatives from the world's leading floriculture markets.
This edition will feature 130 exhibitors, more than 2,500 international visitors from 73 countries, and 15,000 m² of exhibition space. Over three days, attendees will have the opportunity to discover the quality, diversity, innovation, and production capabilities of an industry that has positioned Ecuador among the world's leading flower-producing countries.
"Expo Flor Ecuador 2026 allows us to showcase the quality of our flowers to the world, along with the technical expertise, production capabilities, and human talent behind every stem. It is also an opportunity to strengthen business relationships, create new opportunities, and shape the future of Ecuadorian floriculture,"
Said Alejandro Martínez, Executive President of Expoflores.

Ecuador is the world's third-largest flower exporter, after the Netherlands and Colombia. In 2025, flower exports reached USD 1.045 billion, making flowers the country's sixth-largest non-oil export product, according to figures from the Central Bank of Ecuador.
Held every two years, Expo Flor Ecuador has established itself as one of the world's leading business platforms for the floriculture industry. The 2026 edition will allow buyers and key industry stakeholders to gain firsthand insight into the origins and production processes of Ecuadorian flowers, discover new varieties, identify emerging trends, and establish business relationships with participants throughout the global floriculture supply chain.
Ecuadorian flowers reach more than 100 countries worldwide. The industry's main markets are the United States, the European Union, and Eurasia, which together account for 82% of Ecuador's flower exports.
Flower production is concentrated primarily in Ecuador's northern and central Andean regions and generates approximately 140,000 direct and indirect jobs. The industry's importance extends beyond exports, given its contribution to the national economy, formal employment, and the development of communities in flower-producing areas.
Roses account for 76% of Ecuadorian flower exports, followed by summer flowers at 9% and gypsophila at 8%. Ecuador's floral offerings are internationally recognized for their diversity, consistency, size, color, and quality.
The industry's growth is also supported by responsible production standards. As of 2026, Flor Ecuador Certified® encompasses 207 certified farms and 3,885.31 certified hectares, representing more than 70% of the country's flower production. The certification scheme evaluates social, environmental, production, and governance practices.
Diversity is an essential part of Ecuadorian floriculture's identity. It is reflected in the varieties grown, the people who make this industry possible, and the way Ecuador connects with the world through its flowers.
